What is the recommended sequence for beginning the Friday sermon?

It is recommended to commence with the praise of Allah (*Hamd*) before the admonition because the Prophet, peace be upon him, followed this practice, and any matter of importance not begun with the praise of Allah is rendered incomplete (*abtar*). Following the praise, the preacher should send blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, before delivering the exhortation.

If the preacher reverses this order, the sermon is valid because the main purpose is still accomplished.
