What remembrance and observances are recommended during the walk to prayer?

One should increase the remembrance of Allah (*dhikr*) during the journey, lower the gaze, and recite what has been established in the chapter on the description of prayer. Additionally, one should supplicate: "O Allah, make me among the most devoted who turn towards You, the closest who seek intercession through You, and the best who ask and desire from You."
