What is the required content of the Khutbah?

The Khutbah must traditionally consist of praising Allah the Exalted and sending blessings upon the Messenger, peace be upon him. If one recites verses containing the praise of Allah, admonition, and sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace be upon him, the sermon is valid because the conditions are met.
