Who should attend to the sick person approaching death?

The person closest to the sick, the most compassionate among the family, the most knowledgeable regarding their management (*siyasah*), and the most pious should attend to them. This is so they can remind the sick person of God Almighty, repentance from sins, settling injustices (*madhalim*), and making a will.
