Which brother takes precedence when a full brother and a brother from the father are present?

There are two established opinions regarding whether the full brother (brother from both parents) is prioritized over the brother from the father, or if they are treated equally. These two views are derived from the two narrations concerning the authority in marriage (*wilayat an-nikah*) and the ruling concerning their respective offspring. The ruling concerning uncles and their offspring follows the same divergence.
