It is not permissible to perform the Funeral Prayer while riding, because this action causes the obligatory element of standing (Qiyam) to be missed. This is the established position of Abu Hanifa, Al-Shafi'i, and Abu Thawr, and no contrary opinion is known regarding this matter.
