Must one remain in the place of prayer until the funeral bier is raised?

It is obligatory to remain in the place of prayer until the funeral bier is raised. This view is narrated from Mujahid. Abdullah ibn Umar refrained from leaving his place of prayer after praying over a funeral until he saw it on the shoulders of men. Al-Awza'i stated that the rows must not be broken until the funeral bier is raised.
