What is the ruling if the follower joins the Imam after the first Takbeer, and the Imam recites Al-Fatiha, but the Imam then performs the second Takbeer before the follower finishes recitation?

If the follower joins the Imam after the first Takbeer and begins recitation, and the Imam performs the second Takbeer before the follower completes the recitation, the follower must perform the second Takbeer immediately and follow the Imam, cutting off the recitation. This is analogous to the latecomer in other parts of the prayer when the Imam bows before the latecomer finishes recitation.
