What is the ruling on fulfilling a deceased person's wish to be buried in their own house?

The wish of the deceased to be buried in their house must be disregarded. The ruling states that the deceased should be buried in the public cemeteries alongside the Muslims because burial in their house causes harm to the heirs. Imam Ahmad supports this view.
Supporting text
It is permissible for a person to purchase a plot for their grave during their lifetime and bequeath that they be buried therein, as evidenced by the practice of Uthman ibn Affan, Aisha, and Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz (may God be pleased with them).
