Ruling on removing gold used to set the teeth of a deceased person

Imam Ahmad ruled that if a deceased person's teeth were bound with gold, the gold must be removed if this can be done without causing some teeth to fall out. If there is fear that some teeth might fall out upon removal, the gold is left in place.
