Primary text
If the slave commits an act requiring compensation, the liability for the *arsh* attaches to the slave's person. This is treated like the loss of some of the slave's constituent parts. The father (giver) has the right to revoke the gift. If the father revokes the gift, he becomes liable for the compensation of the act.
