Primary text

A disconnected increase, such as offspring of an animal, fruit of a tree, or earnings of a slave, does not prevent revocation, with no known difference of opinion. The increase belongs to the son because it occurred during his ownership, and it does not follow in voided contracts, thus it does not follow here. The Qadi mentioned another weak view that it belongs to the father.

Supporting text

If the disconnected increase is the offspring of a female slave where separation is prohibited, revocation is prevented because it necessitates separating mother and child, which is forbidden, unless one posits that the disconnected increase belongs to the father, in which case revocation of both or the mother alone (with the father taking ownership of the son from the son's wealth) may occur.
