What is the effect of the donor revoking permission for possession after granting it, or revoking the gift itself before possession?

If the donor authorizes possession and then revokes that authorization, or revokes the gift itself, the revocation is valid because the act of authorization or revocation does not constitute the actual possession (qabd) required to finalize the gift.
