Regarding the gift of a debt to the debtor, it might be invalid, similar to the ruling on sale. Alternatively, it might be valid because there is no uncertainty (*gharar*) imposed upon the recipient of the gift or the giver, thus making it valid, similar to the gift of tangible assets.
