Is the ruling for a guardian making a gift to a minor the same as the ruling for a sale transaction involving a minor?

Primary text
The ruling for a gift differs from that of a sale because a gift is purely for the benefit of the minor without any suspicion of self-interest or profit motive, and the guardian is acting as the minor's legal representative (Wali). In a sale, the guardian receives consideration from the minor's wealth, which justifies restricting his involvement.
