When doubt arises concerning the number of circuits completed during Tawaf, one must proceed based on the certainty achieved. Ibn al-Mundhir recorded consensus among all known scholars on this principle. This is because Tawaf is an act of worship, and if doubt occurs while engaged in it, one adheres to the certainty, similar to the ruling in prayer.
