A castrated animal is valid for the sacrifice, whether its testicles were cut off, if it is *Maslulan* (testicles removed by pulling), or *Mawju'an* (testicles crushed). This ruling is established because the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, sacrificed two white, crushed rams (*Mawju'ayn*). A crushed animal is treated like a cut one. The reasoning is that the sexual organ is not desired, and its absence positively affects the animal's fatness, meat quantity, and quality, which is the objective of the sacrifice. There is no known disagreement on this matter.
