The designated Miqat for the people of Medina is Dhu al-Hulayfah. The scholars are agreed upon the authenticity of the Hadith related by Ibn Abbas stating that the Prophet (peace be upon him) set Dhu al-Hulayfah as the Miqat for the people of Medina, and for anyone passing through it intending Hajj or Umrah, regardless of their origin.
