If the agent falls ill during the journey and returns, the agent is entitled to the expenses for the return journey because it is a necessity that occurred without the agent's negligence, similar to being waylaid or besieged. A narration from Ahmad states that if one falls ill in Kufa and returns, they must return what they took.
