Primary text

Muzdalifah has three names: Muzdalifah, Jam', and Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram. Its boundary extends from the two Ma'zams of Arafat to Qarn Muhassir, including the ravines to its right and left. Standing in any part of this area suffices, based on the Prophet’s saying, "Al-Muzdalifah is a place of standing." Jabir narrated that the Prophet said, "I stood here at Jam', and all of Jam' is a place of standing."

Supporting text

The valley of Muhassir is not part of Muzdalifah, based on the instruction, "And hasten past the bottom of Muhassir."
