When should the Farewell Circumambulation (Tawaf al-Wada') be performed?

The prescribed time for the Farewell Circumambulation, also called Tawaf al-Ṣadr (Departure Tawaf), is after one has completed all of their affairs, so that the last act is the circumambulation of the House, following the custom of a traveler bidding farewell to relatives and friends.
