Is the Hajj invalidated if sexual intercourse occurs after the Tawaf al-Ziyarah but before the Rami (stoning)?
Chapter on the Description of Hajj
Al-Mughni
Book of Hajj
Primary text
The Hajj is not invalidated under any circumstance if sexual intercourse occurs after performing Tawaf al-Ziyarah but before performing the Rami. This is because all pillars (arkan) of the Hajj have been completed. The removal of the Ihram state is not contingent upon the Rami, as the Rami is not considered a pillar of Hajj.
Supporting text
There is a potential obligation for a sacrificial offering (dam) in this situation, as intercourse occurred before the act that completes the major state of release (Tahalul). This scenario is likened to the case where intercourse occurs after Rami but before the Tawaf.
