Is the Ihram entered by the mother on behalf of her child valid?

If the mother enters Ihram on behalf of her child, it is valid, based on the statement of the Prophet, peace be upon him, "and you shall have the reward." The reward is attributed to her only because she follows the child in the state of Ihram.
