Is it permissible to perform circumambulation over the wall of the Hijr or the shadrawan of the Kaaba?

It is not permissible to perform Tawaf over the wall of the Hijr or the shadrawan of the Kaaba (which is the projection of the Kaaba's wall). This invalidates the Tawaf because these areas are considered part of the Kaaba itself, and omitting Tawaf around them means failing to complete Tawaf around the entire House. Furthermore, the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed his Tawaf around the outside of these structures, and the principle is that the rituals must be taken from his practice.
