Primary text

It is not permissible for a person in Ihram to eat the eggs of hunted game, whether he broke them himself or another Muhrim (person in Ihram) broke them. If a lawful person (Halal) breaks them, the ruling follows that of eating the meat of the hunted animal. If the Muhrim acquired them specifically to eat, it is forbidden for him; otherwise, it is permissible.

Supporting text

If a lawful person breaks a game egg, it does not become unlawful for him to eat because its permissibility does not depend on the act of breaking, nor does it require a specific qualification (like Tasmiyah, mentioning God's name). Even if a Magian or idolater breaks it, or it is broken without Tasmiyah, it remains lawful, similar to cutting and cooking the meat of game.
