Is it permissible to recite the Talbiyah in a language other than Arabic?

The Talbiyah must be recited in Arabic. Recitation in a non-Arabic language is not permissible unless the individual is completely unable to recite it in Arabic, because the Talbiyah is a prescribed ritual utterance. This principle is analogous to the ruling on the Adhan and other prescribed invocations within the prayer, which must also be in Arabic.
