Is it recommended for a woman to perform Tawaf (circumambulation) at night?
Chapter on What the Muhrim Must Avoid and What is Permissible for Him

Primary text
It is recommended for a woman to perform Tawaf at night because it offers greater concealment and less crowding, allowing her to approach the Ka'bah and touch the Black Stone. A narration transmitted by Hanbal in Al-Manasik indicates that Aisha used to perform Tawaf after the Isha prayer, sometimes for a week or two, and would send word to those gathered in the mosque to return to their households, stating that their families had a right over them. Another account relates that Aisha sent for those with lamps to extinguish them so she could perform Tawaf with others in privacy or behind a screen. Upon finishing every circuit, she would touch the Black Stone, seek refuge between the Corner and the Door, and after completing three circuits, she would move to the rear of the Zamzam well structure, facing the people, and pray six rak'ahs, moving toward the women after every two rak'ahs to speak with them, thus separating her prayer.
