What is the legal status if someone commanded another to perform Hajj Tamattu, but the commanded person performed Hajj Qiran?

Book of Hajj
Primary text
If a person commands another to perform Hajj Tamattu, and the commanded person performs Hajj Qiran instead, the act counts for the commander because the commander commanded both 'Umrah and Hajj. The deviation lies only in the mandated starting point: the commander ordered the Ihram for Hajj to commence from Mecca, but the person started Ihram from the Miqat. The apparent position of Ahmad and the school of Al-Shafi'i is that no expenditure should be deducted from the commander's obligation.
