Who is liable for the blood sacrifice (*dam*) associated with *Mut'ah* or *Qiran* when performed by an agent?

If the principal authorized the agent to perform the *Mut'ah* or *Qiran* pilgrimage acts, the blood sacrifice is incumbent upon the principal because he authorized the cause of that sacrifice. If the agent was not authorized, the blood sacrifice falls upon the agent because it is treated as his own transgression.
