Regarding the narration: 'What is between Thawr and U{c}ayr,' the scholars of Medina state that they do not recognize any mountains named Thawr or U{c}ayr within Medina. These names belong to two mountains in Mecca. Therefore, it is probable that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, intended a measure equivalent to the distance between Thawr and U{c}ayr in Mecca, or alternatively, he referred metaphorically to two mountains in Medina using those names as a figurative expression.
