Primary text

If a man appoints two agents for his obligatory Hajj, and also for a vowed or supererogatory Hajj, whichever agent performs the Ihram first fulfills the obligation for the obligatory Hajj. The second agent's Ihram will count as either a supererogatory Hajj or fulfilling the vowed obligation. This is because the Ihram cannot count for the obligatory Hajj for someone who already owes it through another representative; similarly, it cannot count for his representative.
