Must a person facing impediment take an alternative route to complete the rite?

If the person facing impediment (muhsar) can reach their destination via another route, taking that alternative route is obligatory, regardless of how far or near it is, or whether they fear missing the rite or not. If the person was in Ihram for Umrah, it has not yet passed, but if it was for Hajj and it has passed, they exit Ihram by completing Umrah.
