Book of Hajj
Primary text
Between the two corners (the Yemeni Corner and the Black Stone), the supplication "Our Lord, give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter and save us from the punishment of the Fire" (Quran 2:201) is to be recited. This is established by the report from Abdullah ibn al-Sa'ib, who heard the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying this supplication in that specific location. Furthermore, it is reported that seventy thousand angels are assigned to the Yemeni Corner, and if one says, "O Allah, I ask You for pardon and well-being in this world and the Hereafter, [and recites Quran 2:201]," they respond, "Amen."

Ibn Abbas, upon reaching the Yemeni Corner, used to say, "O Allah, satisfy me with what You have provided me, and grant me good in place of everything absent." It is recommended to say, "O Allah, make it a pilgrimage accepted, endeavor rewarded, and sin forgiven. My Lord, forgive and have mercy, and pardon what You know, for You are the Mightiest, the Most Generous." Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf used to say, "My Lord, protect me from the stinginess of my soul." Al-Urwah reported that the Companions used to say, "There is no god but You; You give life after You cause death."
