What is the ruling concerning wearing uncut sandals if the owner is capable of affording proper sandals?

If the uncut sandals are worn when the person is actually able to afford proper sandals, the wearing is prohibited. This prohibition applies whether the sandals are cut or uncut, thus making the wearing of the uncut ones, when the proper sandals are available, a forbidden act.
