What is the ruling if one performs Ihram for oneself and another person simultaneously?

If a person enters Ihram for himself and for another person, the Ihram is valid only for himself. This is because if the Ihram were valid for him without explicitly intending it for himself, it is more appropriate that it is valid when he does intend it for himself.
