Primary text

If a person departs for Hajj and dies on the way, the Hajj should be completed on their behalf from the location where they died. This is because they have fulfilled part of the obligatory duty, and a second obligation does not become incumbent upon them. This principle applies if the designated agent (*na'ib*) dies; the replacement agent is appointed from the location where the first agent died.
