What is the ruling regarding a wife proceeding to perform obligatory Hajj before entering Ihram?

The husband is not permitted to prevent his wife from proceeding to perform her obligatory Hajj if its conditions are met, she is capable, and she has a Mahram to travel with her. This is because it is an obligation, and he cannot prevent her from obligations, just as he cannot prevent her from prayer or fasting.
