What is the ruling upon a slave who commits an act invalidating their Ihram?
General Chapter

Book of Hajj
Primary text
The ruling upon a slave who violates the sanctity of their Ihram is the same as that imposed upon an insolvent free person, which mandates fasting. This obligation to fast remains even if the slave is released due to being besieged by an enemy or released by their master; they cannot exit the Ihram state before completing the fast, similar to a free person. The master is prohibited from preventing the slave from observing this required fast because it is an obligatory fast, resembling the fast of Ramadan.
