What is the ruling if a slave is manumitted before completing the make-up Hajj (Qada)?

If a slave is freed before performing the Qada, he cannot perform the Qada before fulfilling the obligatory Hajj (Hajjat al-Islam), because the obligatory Hajj takes precedence.
