Primary text

If one appoints a proxy while expecting to recover, and then later becomes one from whom recovery is despaired, they must perform Hajj by themselves a second time. This is because the initial proxy appointment occurred during a time when it was invalid for them, making the situation analogous to a healthy person appointing a proxy.
