A woman observing the Iddah of a revocable divorce is treated as a wife when performing Hajj, because she is still considered a wife in that waiting period. If she departs for Hajj and her husband dies while she is close by, she must return to her home to observe the remainder of her Iddah. If she is far away, she may continue her journey for Hajj. This ruling is mentioned by Al-Khiraqi.
