Is there a difference in reward for the resident of Makkah undertaking Umrah from farther away in the Hill?

It is related from Ahmad that for a resident of Makkah performing Umrah, the further they travel in the Hill for Ihram, the greater the reward, as it is proportional to the effort expended.
