If a woman applies henna while in the state of Ihram and does not wrap her hands with cloth afterward, no Fidyah (expiation) is required. This view is held by the Shafi'i school and Ibn al-Mundhir.

Supporting text

Malik and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan stipulated that the woman must pay the Fidyah if she applies henna while in Ihram.
