There is no known dispute regarding the permissibility of trade and industry for a person in Ihram. This is based on the interpretation of Quran 2:198, which allows seeking bounty from the Lord during the Hajj seasons, following the practice of the markets of Dhul-Majaz and Ukaz during Jahiliyyah.
