Validity of performing Hajj and then Umrah for oneself after being commanded to perform Hajj, or performing Umrah and then Hajj for oneself after being commanded to perform Umrah.

If one is commanded to perform Hajj, performs it, and then performs Umrah for himself, or is commanded Umrah, performs it, and then performs Hajj for himself, the actions are valid. Furthermore, the person does not owe any reimbursement for the expense of the second act because the command was fulfilled in its proper manner.
