Validity of Tawaf when doubt arises concerning purification (Taharah) during the act?

The Tawaf is invalid if doubt regarding purification arises before its completion. This is because purification is a prerequisite for the act of worship, and doubt concerning a prerequisite before completion invalidates the act, similar to doubt regarding purification during prayer while still engaged in it.
