Is testimony accepted if one of the original victims later testifies against the accused for the same act of highway robbery?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Highway Robbers
Primary text
If the one on whose behalf the testimony was originally given returns and testifies that the accused committed highway robbery against them and seized their property, the testimony is not accepted. This is because the witness has now become an enemy (*aduww*) to the accused due to the act of highway robbery committed against the witness.
