Is testimony valid if two just men testify that a man committed highway robbery against them and another person?
General Chapter
Al-Mughni
Book of Highway Robbers
Primary text
The testimony of two just men declaring that a man committed highway robbery against them and a specific other person, and seized their property, is not accepted. This is because by stating the robbery occurred against them, they become adversaries (*khusum*) to the accused in that regard.
