There are two differing opinions regarding whether the first set of witnesses is to receive the Hadd for Qadhf. This depends on a secondary issue: whether a slanderer who presents himself in the manner of a witness is subjected to the Hadd for slander, for which there are two narrations (Riwāyāt).
