Book of Ḥudūd (Prescribed Penalties)
Primary text
The ruling on whether the prescribed punishment for defamation is due upon the accuser in a case of bestiality depends entirely on whether the prescribed punishment is established for the perpetrator of that act. Therefore, whoever holds that the hadd is obligatory for the perpetrator, likewise mandates the hadd for the accuser, and whoever does not, does not.
